Two Years in the Making: Introducing Our Linen Bedding Collection

Some things take time. This one took two years.

Bonnie an Neil has always been a brand built around the home - the cushion on the sofa, the tablecloth laid for a long lunch, the print that makes a room feel like yours. Expanding our bedding collection felt like the natural next step. Two years of testing and - yes - sleeping in linen before we got it right. We kept coming back to French flax, stonewashed until it was soft enough to sleep in from the very first night. Built to last and only get better.

The result is our biggest bedding collection yet: quilt covers, fitted sheets, flat sheets, throws, blankets and pillowcases, each one as considered as the last.

Where the prints come from

Bonnie grew up in New Zealand, and that landscape has never really left her. The florals at the heart of this collection are drawn from the countryside she knows best.

"One of the heroes is the Lupin design. The inspiration came from the windy roads near Queenstown. Lupins grow wild there in the most beautiful range of colours - I've always loved them, and I knew they'd be so pretty on linen."

There's something about lupins that captures exactly what Bonnie and Neil has always been about: colour that isn't timid, pattern that fills a room, beauty that feels found rather than manufactured. The rest of the collection carries that same spirit - Marigold Leaf lush and golden, Petal Pink an all-over floral that's immersive and unapologetic, Daisy Sage and Daisy Buff bold and graphic, each one hand-drawn and full of life. And for those who want to anchor the wilder prints, Cocoa & Tan and Sage & Khaki offer two reversible colourways designed to layer beautifully across the full collection.

Designed to mix and match

One of the things we thought hardest about with this collection is how the pieces work together. The prints mix and match effortlessly - Lupin Multi alongside Petal Pink for a layered, garden-inspired bed, Marigold Leaf with Daisy Sage for something more grounded and botanical. The solids are there to tie it all together, pulling out a tone from whichever print you've chosen and letting it breathe.

There's no wrong way to put it together. That's the point.

The details that matter

Every piece in the collection is stonewashed 100% French flax linen — OEKO-TEX® certified, naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, so it works year-round. Quilt covers come with a tie closure and are packaged in a matching linen drawstring bag. Fitted sheets have a deep 40cm wall to fit a range of mattress depths. Everything is pre-washed, so what you see is what you get from night one.

This is a collection built to last and only get better - linen does that, softening and settling with every wash until it becomes the thing in your bedroom you couldn't imagine being without.

Two years in the making. Designed to be loved for years.
